The Miller Centre Theatre’s current response to the pandemic

Following further government announcements, and the ever-evolving coronavirus situation, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel all events at the Miller Centre until September at the earliest. This means that none of these plays will now be performed:

  • THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE (26 March to 4 April)
  • PRESSURE (7 to 16 May)
  • DAVID COPPERFIELD (25 June to 4 July)
  • ROBIN HOOD (Young Players production, 17-18 July)

All planned film shows have also been cancelled, including JUDY (6 April), as has our OPEN DAY (13 June).

We hope that the production of David Copperfield at the Minack open air theatre in Cornwall (27 to 31 July) will still go ahead, and we'll provide more information nearer the time.

We also hope to include some or all of the cancelled productions in our 2020-21 season, which is due to be announced soon.

If you purchased tickets for any of the above events using our online service, you will receive a full refund from TicketSource (excluding ticket postage, if applicable). The refund will be applied to the credit/debit card used to make the booking, but please be patient as they are having to process thousands of refunds and it may take several weeks.

As the Miller Centre is currently closed and movement of people restricted, our Box Office staff are unable to process any refunds. We are devising a refund claim process and hope to make this available on our website by mid-April. This process will also set out how we plan to reimburse Season Ticket holders.

We would ask you to kindly avoid phoning or emailing the Miller Centre about refunds. They will be forthcoming, but the current situation makes it difficult for our volunteers to deal with anything until they can get back into the Miler Centre and access the information needed to reimburse customers.

The wardrobe is closed until further notice. All enquiries to Berry Butler 01883 652448.

All activity clubs and groups are closed until further notice.
