One of Dickens’s best-loved and most autobiographical stories follows the life of young David from his unhappy childhood to middle age and his discovery of his gift as a storyteller. The novel is brought vibrantly to life in this warm, funny and face-paced adaption, full of his finest characters, including optimist Mr Micawber, the fawning Uriah Heap, the formidable Aunt Betsy Trotwood and the glamorous, spoilt Steerforth.
We are also taking the production down to the Minack Theatre in Cornwall:
